Other Ingredients: **Pharmaceutical-grade
dextrose, HPLC-tested pure creatine monohydrate, taurine, citric
acid, natural & artificial flavors, calcium silicate, dipotassium
phosphate, dipotassium phosphate, disodium phosphate, ascorbic acid,

Recommended Daily Dosage: 1. For
the first five days (loading stage): Take two servings daily, one in
the morning and the other twelve hours later or immediately after your
workout 2. Maintenance Stage: Take one serving immediately
after your workout, or take one serving upon waking on non-workout days.
For optimum taste, mix two scoops (98.5 g) of CELL-Tech with 12 oz. of
cold water (add more water if taste is too sweet). CELL-Tech
should be used for a minimum of eight weeks.

Unfortunately in the
past creatine products have had little or no scientific support and have never
panned out for bodybuilders. But that has changed. MuscleTech Research and
Development, Inc. has spent several years developing an advanced,
third-generation creatine product - CELL-Tech -

How
Creatine is Transported
The transport of creatine is mediated by the amount and
efficiency of circulating insulin, the most powerful, anabolic hormone in the
body. Early research performed by Dr. Paul Greenhaff formed the basis for
consuming carbohydrates with creatine. In these studies, subjects took
creatine with more than twice the amount of dextrose found in most creatine
formulas on the market today and experienced a 60 percent greater creatine
retention compared to subjects taking creatine with water.(2) Taking
creatine with water does not stimulate insulin release because carbohydrates
are the most useful macromolecule for achieving this effect. Taking creatine
with a glass of juice is better than simply taking your creatine with water,
but an 8-ounce glass of juice simply doesn’t contain enough high-glycemic
carbohydrates to significantly elevate insulin levels for optimum creatine
absorption. CELL-Tech contains added ingredients which act as cofactors in
creatine metabolism, along with the insulin-potentiating amino acid taurine.
Alpha
Lipoic Acid – The Secret to CELL-Tech's Success
MuscleTech
has made an exceptionally effective creatine formula even better by adding
precisely 200 mg of alpha lipoic acid to each serving. Research conducted
in Germany indicates that alpha lipoic acid may help move sugar into the
muscle where it can be used as energy during exercise.(3) This
research shows that alpha lipoic acid has a similar function as the powerful
anabolic hormone insulin. Alpha lipoic acid also acts as a potent antioxidant
which has been suggested to aid in the reduction of muscle damage and the
greater amount of oxidation associated with exercise.(4)
Alpha lipoic acid also plays a key role in energy production required by the
muscles during resistance training.
The
Importance of Dextrose
CELL-Tech’s first step
in optimizing creatine delivery was to increase the carbohydrate content to a
level
that optimizes insulin production. There is solid scientific research
supporting the use of 75 grams of pharmaceutical-grade dextrose for this purpose. This is the exact amount
that the American Diabetic Association advocates for doctors assessing insulin
release and insulin sensitivity when conducting the Oral Glucose Tolerance
Test. Smaller, arbitrary amounts of dextrose other creatine formulas use may
not trigger adequate insulin release. However, CELL-Tech takes its formulation
many steps further.
Chromium
Support
MuscleTech also included
chromium picolinate, a highly absorbable form of chromium, in the CELL-Tech
formula which helps support health as well as improve insulin
sensitivity.(5)

Times Better Than Regular Creatine!
MuscleTech-funded research at
the University of Toronto has shown that approximately 20 ounces of
water per serving of CELL-Tech is optimal. This amount of water, in
combination with the high glycemic index carbohydrate supplied by
CELL-Tech (dextrose), results in very high levels of insulin.(6)
Higher insulin levels lead to greater creatine levels in the muscles
where it functions to significantly help prolong your workouts.
MuscleTech researchers advocate that 10 grams of creatine and 75 grams
of dextrose is the precise amount needed to improve the lesser muscle
creatine storage that is associated with smaller, more frequent
servings of creatine (the traditional 5 grams per serving). The result
